Estela Sanz Posteguillo has already been well-known as a flamenco singer. In “Trio Posteguillo”, she follows new pathways and explores the genre of world music. “Canciones del alma” combines melodies from South America, Europe and the Far East. It is a very intimate program with Estela’s very personal “songs of the soul”.

Two exceptional musicians complete the “Trio Posteguillo”: Flamenco guitarist Tino Van Der Sman and cello player Mathis Mayr.
Tino Van Der Sman and Estela met in Seville at the prestigious Fundación Cristina Heeren which is known as a “talent factory” for flamenco artists.
Mathis Mayr is a classically trained musician but also at home in many different styles. He is known for his creative and extraordinary cello play which has enriched several flamenco performances during the last years.
The pathways of the three artists crossed several times, and each time, it was an experience of great inspiration. For “Trio Posteguillo”, they get together again in order to perform melodies from all over the world.
